Wear the Wild is a community arts project by Sarah Seahorse and Luna Aquatica inspired by the endangered flora and fauna of the Darebin Parklands and Darebin Creek area, creating fabulous wearable art and costumes made from found, foraged, recycled and repurposed materials collected from the local area. Each artist created a beautiful body of work inspired by their time spent walking through the Darebin Grasslands and Darebin creek- a place of sanctuary and inspiration during the past year of lockdowns.
This project was funded by Darebin City Council’s Spring Fuse Festival 2021 Artist Grant.

5G and the Future of Fashion
Sarah Seahorse X Tenfingerz
These designers have seen a gap in the fashion market and filled it with high-end tin foil hats.
In response to a burgeoning 5G-conspiracy culture, artists Tenfingerz and Sarah Seahorse have
created a line of haute couture headwear.
One of a kind hats fit for the most discerning of fashion aficionados - with a desire to protect
themselves. The collection is made entirely from common household items - tin foil, sticky tape and
cardboard.
The tin foil hats are available for purchase with prices upon application.

Tears of the Nudibranch is a heart felt homage to the great barrier reef. A response to the catastrophic environmental disaster that is the worst, mass bleaching event in the reefs history.
With intricate and experimental textile manipulation, and organic fabric creations we have created a spine tingling memorial to the Great Barrier Reef, depicting the bleaching of the reef with the transformation of the costume from neon coral to bleached coral.
